Mike Welton @ Architects + Artisans – Landscape architect Mia Lehrer has transformed an inward-facing Natural History Museum – located smack-dab in the middle of the Los Angeles Basin – from parking lots to lush and demonstrative gardens.

The museum itself, about to celebrate its centennial, was opened up with windows and skylights for transparency and exposure to the 3.5-acre site.  Read more.
