In Boston, a Museum without Walls

Mike Welton @ Architects + Artisans – Let’s say you’re a pair of young and talented Boston designers, ready to open a museum after running workshops for years with the local chapter of the Industrial Designer Society of America.

The idea is to educate the public about good design and how it’s done – to speak to the masses, rather than the designer classes alone.

The only catch is that it’s 2009, at rock bottom of the Great Recession.  And construction is expensive, anyway.  So what do you do?  Read more.
